ZainTECH, the digital solutions arm of Zain Group, has signed a multi-year strategic collaboration agreement with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to help organizations in Saudi Arabia accelerate cloud adoption and AI-led innovation.
The deal aims to speed customer engagement with AWS cloud and AI services across sectors such as government, financial services, energy and healthcare. These industries are already increasing investment in cloud, data and artificial intelligence, seeking to modernize legacy systems and improve service delivery to citizens and consumers.
“Saudi Arabia is entering an important new phase of cloud adoption, with local cloud infrastructure creating new possibilities for organizations across the Kingdom,” said Andrew Hanna, chief executive officer of ZainTECH.

He noted that the multi-year partnership with AWS will enable it to assist customers in preparing environments, satisfying security and data-residency requirements and accelerating the creation of cloud, data and AI solutions.
ZainTECH currently supports more than 1,600 organizations in eight countries and employs over 850 technology professionals.
The partnership aligns with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 agenda, which calls for greater digital agility and resilience. Through the agreement, ZainTECH will continue working with Saudi firms to unlock opportunities enabled by cloud, data and emerging technologies, supporting the kingdom’s goal of becoming a regional hub for advanced digital services.
