AFC Furniture Solutions aims for 30% growth in its Pune business by FY 2026-27, driven by demand from Global Capability Centres (GCCs), IT/ITeS companies, and managed workspace operators. The plan centers on large corporate fit-outs and modular furniture solutions across commercial hubs in Pune.
The expansion follows a year of prioritising large-volume corporate fit-outs, faster project execution, and modular furniture installations for businesses in Pune’s commercial corridors. The firm’s plans align with Pune’s office market expansion, which is supported by multinational technology companies and financial services firms.
Pune recorded approximately 10.8 million sq ft of office leasing in 2025, a 36% year-on-year increase. GCCs accounted for about 65% of office leasing demand in Q3 2026, indicating their significant contribution to occupier activity. This surge in leasing reflects heightened interest from tech-driven enterprises seeking flexible space.
Maanoj Tomar, the founder of AFC Furniture Solutions, noted that as GCCs and technology companies expand their office footprints, there’s growing urgency to get workspaces ready for use in short order. To meet this need, the company is prioritizing more efficient operations, cutting down on setup times, and designing furniture systems that can easily adapt to business scaling.
The company is shifting toward pre-engineered modular workstations, adjustable seating, and team-focused furniture that can be quickly assembled or rearranged as occupancy shifts. This approach is particularly aimed at automotive tech firms, engineering companies, and R&D teams that need spaces flexible enough for software developers and collaborative projects. Such modular designs allow businesses to adjust to changing project demands without lengthy renovations.
The company will draw on its 4 lakh sq ft facility and national manufacturing capacity of 18,000 workstations and ergonomic seating systems per month to support its business. By leveraging this scale, it aims to increase its share of large corporate and managed office projects while strengthening regional execution capabilities. The extensive facility enables the firm to meet tight deadlines and supply customized solutions across multiple sites.
Managed workspace providers are a top focus, as companies increasingly look for move-in-ready offices with adaptable leasing terms. To address this, AFC is deepening its partnerships with workspace operators and developers to offer furniture systems that can serve diverse tenants without needing frequent redesigns. This flexibility allows operators to provide turnkey solutions that keep pace with the evolving needs of today’s dynamic workforces.
